Warhounds Release 2026/2027 Schedule

GAYLORD, Mich. — The Northern Michigan Warhounds have officially released their 2026–27 regular-season schedule, featuring 26 games and 13 opportunities for the Pack to defend The Den in Gaylord.

The new season begins Saturday, October 10 at 6:00 PM when the Warhounds welcome the Muskegon Voyagers to the Otsego County Sportsplex. The home opener will mark the beginning of another exciting season of semi-professional hockey in Northern Michigan.

“We have been working hard throughout the offseason to build a talented roster and create an even better experience for our fans,” Warhounds owner Andrew Dibble said. “October 10 is going to be an exciting night. We cannot wait to see The Den filled with Warhounds fans and feel that energy again.”

The Warhounds’ home schedule features several familiar regional opponents, including the Alpena 45ers, Kalkaska Kings and St. Ignace Saints. Gaylord will also welcome the Waterford Sharks, Fraser Falcons and West Michigan Sentinels during the season.

Northern Michigan’s home schedule includes games throughout October, November, December, January, February and March. Most Saturday home games will begin at 6:00 PM, with select afternoon and specialty start times scheduled throughout the year.

The regular season stretches from October 10 through March 13, giving fans six months of fast, physical and entertaining Warhounds hockey. The team will compete across Michigan and the surrounding region while continuing to build new rivalries and strengthen established ones.

“This schedule gives our fans plenty to look forward to,” Dibble added. “There are some great rivalries, several exciting teams coming to Gaylord and plenty of chances for the community to come together. Our goal is to make every home game feel like an event and continue building something special for Northern Michigan.”

Fans are encouraged to save and share the newly released month-by-month schedule graphics, circle their favorite matchups and begin making their game-day plans.

The hunt begins Saturday, October 10 at 6:00 PM at The Den.

Additional ticket information, promotional nights and game-day announcements will be released through the Northern Michigan Warhounds’ website and social media pages as the season approaches.
