Northern Michigan Warhounds Announce Affiliate Partnership with FPHL’s Indiana Sentinels
Gaylord, MI — The Northern Michigan Warhounds are proud to announce an official affiliate partnership with the Indiana Sentinels of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL). This marks a significant step forward in player development and organizational growth as the Warhounds continue to build a culture of advancement and opportunity for their athletes.
This partnership provides Warhounds players with a direct pathway to the professional level, solidifying the team’s commitment to giving talent from Northern Michigan and beyond a real shot at the next stage of their careers.
“This is a great opportunity,” said Warhounds owner Andrew Dibble. “We want our players to develop, and this gives us a direct line to the next level. Last season, we had a group of guys get call-ups to the Fed. This new relationship helps us continue that momentum and also gives players right on the cusp of FPHL readiness a place to grow their game. I’m excited to align with the Sentinels and their shared vision of player development.”
A representative from the Indiana Sentinels echoed that sentiment, noting the Warhounds’ growing reputation for producing talented, ready-to-compete players.
The affiliate agreement is also part of a broader initiative within the American Premier Hockey League (APHL) to create structured, professional pathways for its athletes. With the Warhounds–Sentinels connection joining the Wooster Bulls–Carolina Thunderbirds and Summit City Distillers–Monroe Moccasins affiliations, the APHL continues to strengthen its role as a developmental force within the hockey world.
With this partnership, the Warhounds further solidify their position as a cornerstone franchise in the APHL—driven by community, competition, and the pursuit of excellence.
The Pack is moving forward. And now, it has a direct line to the FPHL.
