We’ve seen hockey teams come and go in Gaylord—and one of our owners was part of one.

He’s witnessed firsthand what the community needs from a team: follow-through, transparency, and commitment. A lot has changed in the three years since he was involved with the former team in town. Through hard lessons, missed opportunities, and reflection, he’s learned what it really takes—and what can be shown when leadership steps up and stays in.

That’s what sets the Northern Michigan Warhounds apart.

We aren’t here for one season. We’re here to build something sustainable, community-driven, and impactful. From programs addressing literacy, health, and bullying, to affordable, high-intensity family entertainment—we’re showing what it means to be more than a team.
