Local Youth Sells Artwork to Chase Hockey Dreams

GAYLORD, MI — In a community built on hard work, creativity, and support, one young athlete is already showing what it means to chase a dream.

Willow, a bright and determined local skater, has been taking ice skating lessons as she prepares to step into the world of hockey. With her sights set on attending the Northern Michigan Warhounds Youth Hockey Camp this summer, she’s doing something truly special to help make it happen—she’s selling her own artwork.

Inspired by other local artists, Willow took initiative beyond her years and turned her creativity into opportunity. Partnering with CRAVE Pasta Pizza Pub—one of the Warhounds’ valued season sponsors—she now has her paintings proudly displayed and available for purchase inside the restaurant.

Located in downtown Gaylord, CRAVE has long been known for supporting local artists and providing a space where creativity and community come together. Now, they’re helping spotlight a young athlete who is not only pursuing hockey, but also learning the value of entrepreneurship along the way.
